Taco Fest delivers an electric atmosphere with a music lineup featuring some of the area’s best DJs and top cover bands. Expect crowd-pleasing sets across multiple genres — from high-energy dance mixes to classic hits — keeping the party going all day long.
The Grand Rapids Taco Fest is also packed with family-friendly fun, including a vibrant Kids Zone filled with interactive games and engaging activities to keep the little ones entertained all day.
Guests of all ages will enjoy hours of action-packed entertainment including Lucha Libre wrestling, daily contests taco-eating contests, tequila sampling, artisan vendors, and much more.

Contestants who successfully finish eating all three tacos in their entirety without leaving behind a shred of lettuce or cheese will receive vouchers for food trucks within the festival and two VIP tickets to a future Jacobs Pavilion concert.
Get ready for the ultimate flavor face-off! In this fiery competition, contestants will sample a variety of hot sauces, judging each based on taste, heat level, and overall flavor. After all sauces have been tasted, participants will cast their vote to crown one as the ultimate champion. The best part? Every competitor walks away with a bottle of the winning hot sauce to take home and enjoy!
The Kids Zone features the Backyard Bonanza, a fun-filled area packed with interactive games, engaging activities, face painting, and more — designed to keep young festivalgoers entertained all day long.

Throughout the fest, attendees can take in live Lucha Libre entertainment. Lucha Libre wrestlers from American Luchacore Wrestling will battle it out in a ring, showing off their high-flying choreographed maneuvers, colorful masks and spandex outfits that will have attendees on the edge of their seats.
Located along the Grand River, Riverside Park is one of West Michigan’s premier outdoor festival destinations featuring easy access from downtown Grand Rapids and surrounding communities.

Tickets purchased in advance of the festival will be $7, but they will also be available at the door for $10. There is no charge for children under the age of 3, veterans or active duty military. To buy tickets in advance, please visit here!
Children under 10 are free at all times.
Yes, all individuals age 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian after 7:00p.m.
Admission includes:
Food and beverage sold separately.
Food will vary between vendor but tacos will start around $3 each. All vendors will accept cash, credit, and debit. Tequila tasting prices for our Tequila! Tequila! Cantina and beverage prices for our Margarita Fro-zone are available on our website, but we will also have beer, wine, and other spirits and cocktails available at our other festival bars as well.
No outside food or beverages are allowed. Baby formula, baby bottles, or young child’s sippy cup are allowed.
Backpacks, large purses and large shoulder bags are prohibited. Maximum allowable bag size is 12”W x 12”H x 6” D.
No pets allowed, with the exception of service animals.
Festival parking will be available throughout the Riverside Park area with designated public lots and street parking.
